Leave a Legacy

Leave a Legacy

AJC and our home in Honduras, AHLE, have matured profoundly in the last years. Our programs are well established and running like clockwork. We have donors who have been very consistently generous over the years with these children that allow us to do this work. Looking forward and semi-retiring myself this year has reminded me about planning for the future, not only for myself but also for AJC. I have taken measures to help insure the continuation of the future for children in Honduras.

Having experienced the change some financial assistance toward education has done to the lives of youth in need, I hope you will consider AJC when doing your estate planning. Most of us in this country are very fortunate to have more than just our basic needs met. Leaving something for the kids in Honduras is about changing lives to create a future for them, their families and their communities.

BEQUEST AN EASY, QUICK WAY TO GIVE TO AJC CHILDREN’S FOUNDATION
I made a bequest by simply going to my Charles Schwab Brokerage account and adding AJC Children’s Foundation as a beneficiary, and setting a percentage. You can do this on your brokerage, IRA, Keogh, 401K and Insurance policy. You will have total control of these accounts you can increase, decrease, eliminate at any time. If something should happen to me, AJC Children’s Foundation will be well provided for and they have the option to take all or any part of the bequest or invest it and use only the interest or dividends for operations.

I made the personal decision not to leave money to heirs that have a good life, but to donate to the poorest of the poor.

God bless you all!
