Juan Jose came to AHLE in February 2017. His father was recently murdered over his demands of unpaid wages as a bus driver. Juan became rebellious and began associating with street gangs. He was in high social risk of being recruited into the Maras “gangs” . His family lived in a dangerous area with a high number of Maras, which were known to recruit children and youth to distribute drugs. Juan is cooperative and adapting well to AHLE. His birthday is December 29, 2002.
