	Name: Carlos Enrique Birthdate: May 17, 1990 Joined us: May 15, 2007	Carlos was living with his parents. He was eventually brough to the orphanage. Carlos likes to do manual labor; especially repairing bicycles. He tells a story about how he was bitten by a snake that gave him a serious throat infection which still causes pain on occasion. Carlos is a sweet and quiet child that likes to study and play soccer.
	Name: Fabricio Benjamin Chavez Hernandez Birthdate: February 5, 1992 Joined us: January, 2008	Fabricio has 11 siblings who now live in different locations. He spent 2 years in a shelter before coming to our facility. His favorite subject is Spanish and he would like to be a merchant when he is an adult. His favorite memory as a child was when his family went swimming in a river.
	Name: Wilmer Birthdate: February 24, 1992 Joined us: March 28, 2004	Wilmer has 3 siblings. The Commission of Human Rights in his town initiated his admission to the orphanage. It did not take long, with the supervision and direction of the orphanage, to help improve his life. Wilmer is an excellent student and is a very happy, but shy adolescent. Wilmer would like to be an engineer or a graphic designer as an adult.
	Name: Ronal Birthdate: April 23, 1992 Joined us: March 7, 2005	Ronal came to live at the orphanage after spending most of his time surviving on his own. He is happy to be at our orphanage now. He understands what it means to be a family. He now has lots of brothers and has even learned to love school! So far this year, he has not missed one day of school and is one of the top students at the orphanage. He is now a leader and enjoys helping the younger boys with homework. Ronal would like to attend the university after school.
	Name: Franklin Alix Birthdate: May 13, 1992 Joined us: April 17, 2004	Franklin is described by the staff as one of the best kids. He has a brother and sister who are much younger than he. Franklin loves football and is a natural leader at this point. He is the room leader and an excellent example to the others. Franklin is very obedient, always uses good language and consistently involved in projects and daily activities. Franklin receives excellent grades and studies regularly.
	Name: Marvin Fuentes Birthdate: unknown Joined us: December 2008	Marvin is a very troubled child. He has no one except a grandmother with whom he was living but he became too aggressive for her to handle. He has never attended school and came to us from a shelter in the city. In Marvin’s words, “More than anything I want friends for companionship.” He is so happy to be at the orphanage because he loves the food and the fact that he has his own bed.
	Name: Samir Birthdate: December 7, 1992 Joined us: March 7, 2005	Samir is a quiet child and very respectful. He always does his chores at the orphanage. He had surgery for a ruptured appendix in 2006. His father was very grateful for his son's medical care.
	Name: Eli Noe Birthdate: January 7, 1993 Joined us: March 19, 2004	Eli previously lived with his grandmother. Eli has made significant progress in improving his behavior, respect for authority and ability to follow instructions.
	Name: Fredis Alexis Funez Romero Birthdate: April 19, 1993 Joined us: January, 2008	Fredis is in the 7th grade and is one of 5 children. He has lived in 4 orphanages. Fredis is happy to be at our orphanage and feels safe to be in such a peaceful environment.
	Name: Jose Eliaquin Aguilar Madrid Birthdate: September 10, 1993 Joined us: January 2009	Jose is 15 years old and was born in Fortileza, Honduras. He lived with his parents and 2 siblings and remembers that his dad used to sell spices for a living. The other children did not go to school because there was no money for education. He was in another inner city shelter before coming to AHLE. Jose is in the 7th grade and enjoys studying science the most. He loves football, music and reading. The last book he read was “ Improving Your Language Skills”. He wants to go to high school and study computers.
	Name: Joselino Birthdate: November 2, 1993 Joined us: March 21, 2004	Initially Joselino's older brother went to a different orphanage but now the 3 brothers are together at our orphanage. Joselino is improving his behavioral skills and respect for authority. Like his older brother, he loves to play soccer and practices every night after completing his homework. Joselino would like to one day be a professional goalie.
