	Name: Nelson Eduardo Hernandez Birthdate: June 29, 1993 Joined us: January, 2008	Nelson is in the 5th grade and has one older brother, Carlos Francisco, who is 12 years older than he. Nelson came to our orphanage from a shelter in the city where he lived for 2 years. He wants to be an industrial mechanic and then teach the same trade. His favorite subject is mathematics and major concern is what will happen to him when he turns 18.
	Name: Albert Bautista Bueso Hernandez Birthdate: July 10, 1993 Joined us: January, 2008	Albert is in the 7th grade and is one of 5 children. He lived with his sister for 2 years, stayed in a shelter for 3 years, then came to our orphanage. His dream is to be a doctor. Albert is a very serious, compassionate and disciplined child.
	Name: Josué Birthdate: November 19, 1993 Joined us: February 8, 2006	Josué has a beautiful smile and is always willing to give you a big hug. He loves and admires his brother Terry and is so grateful that they have been together through it all. Josué loves to swim on the weekends and would like to know if anyone from the United States would like to come and see Honduras.
	Name: Kevin Birthdate: March 30, 1994 Joined us: February 3, 2006	Kevin lived with two neighbors. A friend of the orphanage director heard the story and initiated Kevin's admission into the orphanage. Kevin wants to learn about auto mechanics when he finishes school.
	Name: Darlon Birthdate: April 25, 1994 Joined us: March 7, 2005	Darlon would like to be a karate professor or a pilot. He is a very intelligent boy, but needs supervision and direction to ensure he stays on track.
	Name: Diógenes Birthdate: August 8, 1994 Joined us: March 19, 2004	Diógenes has improved greatly since coming to the orphanage. He is working on overcoming challenges regarding discipline and applying himself in school. He has respect for his tutors and is improving due to the constant reinforcement by the staff.
	Name: Arnol Birthdate: September 19, 1994 Joined us: March 20, 2004	Arnol gets average grades and is always willing to give the biggest smile you have ever seen. Arnol would like to continue studying after high school and possibly attend college.
	Name: Erick Paca Birthdate: January 21, 1995 Joined us: March 29, 2004	Erick has improved greatly in the area of personal grooming and his grades in school are good. Erick receives support from the staff to complete his homework. Erick has become a confident, happy and focused boy. He loves to visit with his mother on the weekend.
	Name: Moises Birthdate: February 2, 1995 Joined us: March 7, 2005	Moises is a very active and happy child. He and his two brothers are in the orphanage. Moises has showed improvement in his willingness to do chores. He now is neat, cooperative and gets good grades in school. Moises would like to be a doctor. He and his brothers have been working on the weekends.
	Name: Erick Danilo Birthdate: May 21, 1995 Joined us: May 15, 2007	We received Erick from an orphanage in San Pedro Sula. The staff there noticed his intelligence and willingness to apply himself at school and wanted him to receive a better education. Erick loves to study and swim on the weekends. He is a very calm child that is obedient and respectful.
	Name: Jose Ricardo Torres Medina Birthdate: July 4, 1995 Joined us: January 2009	His father died of cirrhosis in 2008 and he was living with a cousin in a mud house with 4 other people. His mother could not support him and he was brought to our orphanage. He loves math and he got a 95% in Spanish, which he also enjoys. His favorite sport is football and he wants to make money and buy a big house.
	Name: Gerardo Birthdate: October 8, 1995 Joined us: March 28, 2004	Gerardo is very orderly, obedient and completes all his daily chores. He missed only four days of school despite being quite ill earlier in the year. His motivation and persistence are admirable qualities. He is very curious about the people in the United States and what their lives are like.
	Name: Juan Carlos Mejía Birthdate: April 27, 1996 Joined us: February 13, 2006	Juan Carlos has changed so much in his time at the orphanage. Juan Carlos now is the staff’s assistant in his dormitory where there are 15 boys between 6 and 11 years old. His parents are alive but he does not know his father at all. Juan Carlos has seven siblings, one of which (Marvin) is also at our orphanage. They lived with an aunt who was unable to provide the proper care. He is now a very cooperative, focused child and responds quickly to positive words of encouragement.
	Name: Manuel de Jesus Molasco Birthdate: September 5, 1996 Joined us: January 2009	Manuel was born in Chaloma, a small town in the mountains. He lived in a house “ with many people” until he ended up in a shelter for a year in the city. He is 12 years old and is in the 5th grade. He loves to play football and wants to study English. He likes his new home because “the food is good and the people here are nice”. The best day of his life was when he got a dog but stated that one year later, the dog was stolen. He would like to study business administration.
	Name: Denis Birthdate: November 12, 1996 Joined us: January 22, 2007	Denis' older sister tried to care for him, but was in a difficult situation herself. It doesn't matter to Denis what job he has in the future as long as he can make some money to help his mother and she would return to Honduras.
	Name: Israel Morales Birthdate: unknown Joined us: January 2009	He does not know his birthday but says he lived in Siguatapecque. It was just his mom and him. His mom is mentally challenged so he was her protector. They lived under a tree, bathed in the river, and were fed when other people gave them food. He is a beautiful and very responsible child who’s major concern is his mother. He started begging when he was 9 years old. He prays everyday for his mother’s safety. He would like to have a bicycle, go to high school, and get a job as a mechanic.
	Name: Erick Trejo Birthdate: February 21, 1997 Joined us: May 29, 2005	Erick is one of four children. He is doing well in school now but definitely needs lots of encouragement to do his homework. He is developing a better self-esteem. Erick would like to be a teacher when he grows up and on the weekends, his favorite thing to do is visit his mother and siblings.
	Name: Jorge Birthdate: November 7, 1997 Joined us: March 22, 2004	Although he is a quiet child, he was a very rebellious one. He still needs to be instructed and supervised very closely to get his chores done. When he was needed for a task, he would often hide. But slowly he has learned cooperation and is much more obedient now. His teachers in school say that he is responsive, can read quite well and is working hard now. He is in the orphanage with his two brothers and he wants to be a teacher so he can help his mom and his siblings. Jorge wants to go to college.
